Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that returns the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the site and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Websites
Links lead to City of Greenbelt resources, Prince George's County and Maryland records offices, library collections, and outside search services. Their own privacy policies control any data submitted to them. The same is true for sponsored search results, which an independent company supplies.
Who May Receive Information
Hosting and technical vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data noted above. We also disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
How Information Is Safeguarded
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs remain only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since visitors do not create accounts, this site holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Your place of residence may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Maryland's Online Data Privacy Act took effect October 1, 2025, with prospective processing obligations beginning in 2026. Because we retain little data, we can check our contact mailbox and server logs when responding to a request. Use the Contact page to submit one. Official records held by Greenbelt, Prince George's County, or Maryland agencies remain outside our control and are governed separately by the Maryland Public Information Act, Maryland Code, General Provisions Title 4. Section 4-203 sets the custodian's response framework. Questions about access or removal of an official record must go to that custodian, and lawfully public government-record information may receive different treatment from privately collected data.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Using the site after an update signifies acceptance of the new version.
